Freeze a Drawing Stepping Into Reality

Pencil figure halfway stepping out of a sketchbook into a real sunlit desk

What if a drawing could literally jump off the page and become a real person?

A little Take On Me by A-ha, anyone?

I never get tired of playing with these transitions between illustration and reality, especially when there's a clever optical illusion involved.

I'll be sharing the prompt and Midjourney style reference with my subscribers soon!

Surreal video transition keyframe, square 1:1: a hand-drawn pencil figure halfway stepping out of an open sketchbook page into a real sunlit desk scene, the left half still black pencil lines on paper, the right half becoming a real person in colour, paper edge curling where the drawing crosses over, magical optical-illusion moment frozen at the exact transformation, warm daylight, photorealistic mixed media, no readable text. Square 1:1 composition.

Wrote a single transition keyframe from the video caption about a drawing becoming a real person

Perché questo prompt funziona

Rewritten as one 1:1 keyframe from a video post by @Artedeingenio about a drawing jumping off the page and becoming real. We froze the halfway transformation. Use it for creativity posters, writing covers and illusion art.

Come adattarlo

Variabile	Cosa cambia	Esempi
a hand-drawn pencil figure	the figure	a pencil dancer mid-spin, a sketched cat becoming fluffy

Consigli

Keep the hero moment frozen and uncluttered.
Change one variable at a time so the scene stays readable.
Ask for square 1:1 framing with no readable text unless the poster needs a title.
