1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all prompts, reference images, uploads, generated images and video, project data, and sharing activity in Cinel. It applies whether you use a free or paid feature, with or without an Account.

2. Content standards and prohibited categories

You must not use Cinel to generate, edit, upload, store, publish, or share any of the following six categories of content:

  • Sexual or NSFW content, including pornography, explicit sexual activity, sexualized nudity, or sexualized content.
  • Violence or gore, including graphic injury, blood, torture, glorification of violence, or violent wrongdoing.
  • Hate speech, including content that dehumanizes, threatens, or incites violence against a protected group.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual, exploitative, or dangerous content involving a minor or a person who may be a minor.
  • Deepfakes or impersonation, including deceptive synthetic media or the use of another person’s likeness, voice, or identity without authorization.
  • Copyright or trademark infringement, including content that violates another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.

Cinel has zero tolerance for CSAM, terrorism or extremist propaganda, weapons of mass destruction instructions, credible violent threats, and non-consensual intimate deepfakes. We also prohibit fraud, harassment, malware or phishing, self-harm encouragement, bulk spam, deceptive claims that AI content is human-created, and attempts to bypass safety controls.

3. Content review and safety controls

Cinel uses layered safeguards that include automated prompt checks, provider safety filters, and abuse monitoring. These controls may block a request before generation, prevent an output from being saved or shared, or flag it for review.

Safety controls are designed to reduce risk but are not perfect. We may use automated decisions and authorized human review to investigate reported or flagged content. We retain only the information reasonably necessary to investigate, enforce this policy, protect people, and meet legal obligations.

4. Reporting prohibited content

Anyone may report content or conduct that appears to violate this policy, including CSAM, violent threats, impersonation, or an intellectual-property concern. Email support@cinel.ai with the subject “Content report”. Include the relevant task ID or URL, a short description, and any information that helps us identify the issue. Do not send illegal material itself.

We handle reports confidentially where practicable, assess them objectively, and may contact you for clarification. Knowingly false or abusive reports may themselves violate this policy.

5. Review outcomes and enforcement

We prioritize reports involving child safety, terrorism, credible threats, and non-consensual intimate imagery. We may take longer when an investigation needs more context, but will act as promptly as the circumstances require.

Depending on the severity and context, we may issue a warning, refuse a generation, remove content, restrict features or model access, suspend or terminate an Account, preserve records, or report suspected unlawful activity to appropriate authorities. We may also cooperate with lawful investigations.

6. Appeals and policy changes

If you believe we made an error, email support@cinel.ai with the subject “Content appeal” within 10 days of the notice. We will review the available information and may uphold, modify, or reverse the decision.

We may update this policy as safety practices, the Service, or the law changes. For a material change, we will give at least 15 days’ notice where practicable, except when a shorter period is needed to address a security, legal, or abuse risk.
