Question 1

What durations does Sora 2 support?

Accepted Answer

Exactly three: 4, 8 or 12 seconds. Cinel defaults to 4 seconds, which is the cheapest way to test a prompt.

Question 2

Does Sora 2 create sound automatically?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It can generate dialogue, ambience and sound effects synchronized to the action. Describe the sounds you want in the prompt for the best results.

Question 3

Can I use my own picture as the first frame?

Accepted Answer

Yes, one image (JPG, PNG or WebP). Its shape should match the chosen frame — landscape for 16:9, portrait for 9:16. Images that contain human faces are rejected.

Question 4

Why was my Sora 2 prompt rejected?

Accepted Answer

Sora 2 has strict guardrails: content must suit audiences under 18, no real person may appear — public figures included — and copyrighted characters or music are refused. Rephrase with original characters and settings.

Question 5

Which aspect ratios are available?

Accepted Answer

16:9 landscape and 9:16 portrait. For square or other shapes, crop after download or choose a model with more aspect ratio options, such as Wan 2.6.

Question 6

How many credits does Sora 2 use on Cinel?

Accepted Answer

From 124 credits for the default clip. Longer durations cost more, and the exact figure appears before you generate.
