About Creative Scenes
Some of the best prompts do not fit neatly into a use case. They describe a moment: a city street after rain seen from a bus window, an impossible object resting on an ordinary table, a landscape at the exact minute the light turns gold, an athlete frozen mid-air. This category collects those prompts, the ones whose strength is the scene itself rather than a product, a person or a layout.
Expect a mix. Surreal and conceptual prompts combine everyday objects at the wrong scale or in the wrong place, and depend on photographic realism to make the impossible look plausible. Landscape and travel prompts lean on weather, time of day and lens choice. Street and documentary prompts borrow the look of specific cameras and films: on-camera flash, motion blur, grain and imperfect framing. Action prompts specify shutter speed and timing so that the decisive moment is captured. A few use a reference image as the starting point for a composite.
All examples were generated by cinel. Where a scene originally included a branded vehicle or product, the example uses an unbadged or invented design. Because this is a smaller, mixed category, we expect to split it into dedicated categories, such as landscapes or surreal art, as the library grows.
To adapt a scene prompt, keep its strongest idea, usually one unusual juxtaposition or one specific quality of light, and change the setting around it. Adding a precise time of day, weather condition and lens length will make almost any scene more convincing. GPT Image 2.5 and Nano Banana Pro follow complex scene descriptions closely; Seedream 5 Pro excels at cinematic color; Kolors is a fast, low-cost way to sketch ideas.
Questions
What makes a surreal AI image convincing?
Photographic consistency. Keep real-world lighting, shadows, reflections and lens details in the prompt so the impossible element looks like it was actually photographed.
How do I control the mood of a landscape prompt?
Name the time of day, the weather and the light quality precisely, for example “ten minutes after sunset, light fog, cool blue ambient light”, rather than adjectives like “beautiful” or “epic”.
Will this category be split into smaller categories?
Probably. Once a theme such as landscapes or surreal composites has enough strong prompts, it will get its own page.
