Why this prompt works
One light, one idea. A horizontal red neon strip is placed exactly at eye level, and everything else is kept dark: low-key lighting, a black turtleneck, a minimal background and shadow over the lower face. That restraint makes the eyes the only bright point in the frame, which is why the result feels so intense. Our version shows a young man with messy textured hair, the red line slicing across his face and reflecting in his irises. It is an easy look for album covers, event posters or a dramatic profile picture. Swap the neon colour (cyan, violet, amber) or the outfit, but keep 'strong contrast shadows covering lower face'; without it, the drama flattens.
How to adapt it
| Variable | What it changes | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| young man with messy textured hair | the subject | a woman with a sleek ponytail, an older man with a grey beard |
| red neon light strip | colour and position of the light | cyan strip across the eyes, violet strip across the mouth |
| black turtleneck | wardrobe | black leather jacket, white shirt |
Tips
- Keep the background and clothing dark so the neon line is the only highlight.
- Try the strip at mouth level for a different, more mysterious read.
- Add 'neon reflection in the eyes' if the catchlights come out dull.
