A lovely visual metaphor, the story literally emerging from the ink, made convincing by scale contrast. The hand and nib are shot as an extreme close-up with skin texture and ink bleeding into paper fibre, while the characters are specified as 'no larger than a fingernail', cascading down the page with wet ink at their edges. Warm, raking amber light ties the two scales together. The template's bracket asks the model to pick iconic elements itself; we wrote them out for a public-domain classic, Moby-Dick (a peg-legged captain, a white whale, harpoon boats, a whaling ship), and they all appear. Public-domain books are the safe choice, since modern franchises bring rights issues.
